Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains cancellations and refunds for MenuForge subscriptions, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("MenuForge", "we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Subscription billing

Paid plans (Basic, Plus, Premium) are billed in advance in Omani Rials (OMR) for each billing period. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.

2. Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel at any time from your billing settings or by contacting [CONTACT EMAIL]. When you cancel:

• Your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period.
• It will not renew, and you will not be charged again.
• We do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a period, except as described below.

3. Refund eligibility

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We will, however, consider a refund where:

• you were charged in error or charged twice for the same period;
• a confirmed technical fault on our side prevented you from using your paid plan for a significant part of the period and we could not resolve it; or
• a refund is required under applicable Omani consumer law.

Refund requests must be made within fourteen (14) days of the charge by emailing [CONTACT EMAIL] with your account email and the reason.

4. Early-access and free plans

Early-access or free accounts involve no payment and so are not eligible for refunds. If such a plan later converts to a paid plan, this policy applies from the first paid charge.

5. Payment processing

When online payment is enabled (via Thawani), approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and your bank, and is typically several business days after approval.

6. Changes to plans by us

If we materially reduce the features of your paid plan or discontinue it during a paid period, we will offer you a comparable plan or a pro-rata refund for the remainder of that period.
